Transcriber converts speech from audio and video into text. The service is operated by individual entrepreneur Dmitry Romanovich Kasmin, Russian tax ID 667902400942.
Using the service
Each account receives 10 free hours per calendar month in UTC. One recording can be processed at a time, up to 4 hours and 2 GiB. Only submit recordings you have permission to process.
Transcription can contain errors. Check names, numbers, technical terms, and speaker labels against the source. After delivery, the result stays in the open browser tab: download it before refreshing or closing the page.
Extra hours
Where purchases are available, an extra hour costs RUB 60. Packages are 1 hour for RUB 60, 5 hours for RUB 300, and 10 hours for RUB 600. There is no subscription or automatic repeat payment. Purchased hours do not expire at the end of the month.
The free monthly allowance is used first, followed by purchased time. Usage is the source recording duration in seconds, rounded up. Time is reserved before processing and charged once when the result is ready. Cancellation or a processing failure releases the reservation.
Payments and receipts
When payments are available, choose a package and continue to YooKassa to pay using SBP. The price is shown before you continue. Receipts are sent to your verified account email. Hours are credited after the service verifies payment; returning from checkout alone does not confirm payment.
Extra hours are a prepayment for transcription. As paid time is used, a receipt records the prepayment settlement. We retain technical payment and usage records; receipts never contain transcripts or file names.
Refunds and contact
You may request a refund for unused purchased time. Include your account email and payment identifier. Refunds use the original payment method, and the corresponding time is removed from your balance. Time undergoing a refund cannot be reserved for new jobs.
